In case you haven’t heard, PokerStars has released a client for Apple computers. The client is currently available in beta stage-only, but you can still play for real money and do almost everything that PC users do on the Windows client!
In order to check out the client, simply browse on over to PokerStars’ Apple Poker download section.
Right now, the PokerStars Apple Poker beta does not include the “Preferred Seat” feature that can be found on the Windows client.
Here are the technical requirements:
Minimum system configuration:
· PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel Mac
· 512MB RAM
· 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
· 60MB free disk space
· 56k dial-up Internet connection
Recommended system configuration:
· PowerPC G4 1Ghz or faster, PowerPC G5 or Intel Mac
· 1024MB RAM
· 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
· 100MB free disk space
· 128kbps or faster DSL or Cable Internet connection
In addition, you need to have Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later.
